Life is a script. The ego is the main actor in the
script. The soul is the witness, it silently observes the
acting of the ego. But unfortunately, in most of human
life, the consciousness is so
Like an audience watching a movie, getting so involved to the play of the script on the screen, that makes him crying and laughing without knowing that this is just a movie— the actors are not real, but merely a sequence of light and picture-reflections on a screen.
Because he is forgetting his real identity as an audience, his role is supposed to sit back relaxed, to watch and enjoy the movie. Similarly, with the movie of life, one is getting so
involved with the ego that it cannot
notice the presence of the soul.

Why so caught up?
Because he is forgetting his real identity as an audience, his role is supposed to sit back relaxed, to watch and enjoy the movie. Similarly, with the movie of life, one is getting so
involved with the ego of life,
that he is completely forgetting he is the soul, and the ego is just playing its part in the script of life. The ego is just the reflection of life. As the karma unfolds in this world, so the sequence of karma of life needs to be processed in a complex way—actions need to taken, things need to be happened—in this life. You are just a witness, and since the ego is not real, so the world of karma. Then, who is the one watching the movie of life in silence and behind the ego? It is
YOU!
It is the soul, the witness
watching over this life’s movie.
Each one’s script in this life is different, but it is always the same old soul with the unchanged witness that witnessing one’s whole life. The difference is that someone with the discernible and quiet mind
is able to jump out of the
ego’s operating system,
and becomes a witness, a soul, that can directly see and live with one’s own life independently, without attachment to the ego. It means you are no longer chained by your ego which is merely your own shadows reflected on the wall. Your own shadows that reflected on the wall have been frightening and torturing you for whole life. But you still believe and identify with these reflected shadows—that’s your false self of ego.
Your false self of ego has the chance to fool you only when you are clinging to the world and look outside to seek for truth. Once you look within, inwardly, you will find that the ego is just the temporary and impermanent human tool to assist this body for basic surviving in this life. The ego in this samsara of life has its own karmic role to play. But your real identity is the soul, the witness of the ego. Your source of timeless and eternal life lies here—with your soul, your silent witness, and not your ego. Your soul, your spirit is your home. When you identify with the soul or the spirit as the witness, you are free, liberated and at home. You feel safe and step out of this mad, mad world. So your life will flow its natural course without the ego’s interference. Then, why worry some-more?
Things are destined to happen,
it will happen. Things are not supposed
to happen, it will not.
With this understanding, let the life be free as you are merely an observer. Then you will put down the burden and worry, as a traveller puts down his heavy luggage on the floor of a moving train. And you sit back enjoying the scenery as the train moving forward. Just like standing on top of a bridge and watching the flow of river beneath the bridge. Nothing you can change, except watching quietly. Rather than blindly and ignorantly follow your ego, you train yourself to jump out of the ego’s box, which is the world of samsara, it goes round and round, never ending. You can’t stop the cyclone of samsara in life. But you can choose
to jump out of it anytime!
As your ego is in the level of samsara, which is the huge, horrible and never ending cyclone. Don’t fight with the ego but transcend it by lifting yourself to the higher level of the soul. Here, at soul level, you are out of danger, as the cyclone of samsara cannot catch and reach you. You are safe here. You can say goodbye to the ego and the world. Being the witnessing consciousness, you identify with the soul, that’s so called spiritual practice, embodying the wisdom.
That’s the only protector in
this life!
So, when one coupled with this wisdom, and
transcending the life of ego, your life is becoming
easier, lighter, less burden and more fun to live.
